I'm a busy mum, but I also love organising social gatherings. Fortunately, since my children have started school, I have been able to scratch this itch through the school P&C. Acting as project manager for school fetes, musicals, open days, tombolas, quiz nights and participation in broader community activities really keeps me busy. Although I had organised small events prior to my role with the P&C, I had quite a learning curve when I first threw myself into the job. Consequently, I like to attend as many events as I can in order to gain ideas and inspiration for my next challenge.
